| December 2 | Discussion is held on taking over the Hebron Fair or letting the Hebron Rec Council run the event. | |
| 1971 | Jan 6 | Board considers property on Hope Valley Rd. Further discussion is held on taking over Hebron fair or starting their own. |
| Jan 20 | Wilbur Dennis reports that Rev. Kelsey has asked about the Lions Club taking over the Hebron Fair. More discussion on the fair that night | |
| Jan 30 | 1. Meeting opened with discussion on taking over the fair from the Hebron Rec Council. 2. Motion by Wilbur Dennis that the club accept the Hebron Town Fair from the Hebron Rec Council. Unanimously approved. 3. Motion by Ray Burt that the Hebron Lions make immediate application to the Ct Fairs, Inc. as a Major Fair. Unanimously approved. Hebron Rec Council is immediately notified. |
