2010 Fair Dedication to The Boy Scouts Of America
The Hebron Harvest Fair and the Hebron Lions Club salute the Boy Scouts of America as they celebrate 100 years of Scouting adventures and continue their journey into the next century! The relationship between Lions Clubs and Scouts dates back to the early 1900s.
The Boy Scouts of America are one of the nations largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
For nearly a century, the BSA have helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts believe — and, through nearly a century of experience, know — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
We were thrilled to host the Connecticut Rivers Council Boy Scouts 2010 Jamboree in June. The event drew over 10,000 Scouts, Leaders and fellow Lions to the event. We are proud to dedicate the 2010 Hebron Harvest Fair to the Boy Scouts of America as they celebrate 100 years.
Free Admission for Scouts & Leaders in uniform.
