State Contests
Photo Contest
The photo contest is broken in to several categories. All entries to the contest must be made via mail and are due at the end of the fair season. The contest is open to all amateur photographers regardless of when entrant resides. Their are no separate divisions or age groups.
Finalists that are selected by the contest committee will be judged by the registered conference attendees at the Association of Connecticut Fair fall meeting. From the finalists, a winner and runner up will be decided.

2008 State Baking Contest
The baking contests are broken down into Adult and Junior divisions. The winners of each division at each fair is eligible and automatically entered in to the state contest held each year on the same day of the Association of Connecticut Fairs Fall Meeting and Banquet. Contest winners are announced at the banquet held that evening.

Quilt Contest
Each year the Association of Connecticut Fairs sponsors the quilt contests for each of the member fairs.
The winner at each fair is eligible and automatically entered into the state contest held each year on the same day of the Association of Connecticut Fairs Spring Meeting.
The judging of the state contest takes place in the morning on the day of the spring meeting with the winners being announced during the luncheon.
